There is absolutely NO COST for you to become an Affiliate. There is no catch. top

How much is my commission?
Qualifying sales earn a commission of 10% for our tier one affiliate program and 25% on our tier two affiliate program. If our packages are on sale or discounted, you will receive the actual commission from the sale price on each package. top

How soon after a visitor clicks on the link on my page must they make a purchase for me to earn a commission?
You will earn a commission for up to 10 days after a person clicks on our Banner,or clicks on our link, then makes a purchase on our Website. In other words, if a person clicks on our link from your site and comes to our store, but does not make a purchase at that time, you may still earn a commission if that person returns to our Website within 10 days and makes a qualifying purchase. If a person makes more than one purchase from our store within those 10 days, you will earn a commission on each sale! top

When will I not earn a commission?
You would not earn a commission if the person clicks on the link of another one of our affiliates between the time they clicked on our link on your site and the time they made the purchase. You also would not earn a commission if the visitor turned off or otherwise disabled the cookie set when they clicked on the link from your site to our site. top

When are my commissions paid?
Payments are made by the 30th day of each month for the preceding month. Payment are made no matter what your commission amount is. There is no minimum required!. top

When do I start earning commissions?
Immediately. You start earning commission as soon as you sign up with Egiftbaskets and add our banners and link to your website and the first sale is made through these links. top

How long does it take to hear back from you once I sign up?
We try to reply to all applications within Seven days. However, please be patient - we take the time to visit every applicant website to make sure that it fits our criteria. Then we activate your account. top

I have my own personal website, can I apply?
Sure! We allow both companies and individuals to become Egiftbaskets.com Affiliates. top

Can a website based outside the United States and Canada become a Egiftbaskets.com Affiliate?
We can, but your commission check will be issued in US dollars. Most of our Affiliates are from the United States. top

What currency will I be paid in?
U.S. Affiliates will be paid in U.S dollars. top

How do I link to Egiftbaskets.com?
Once you sign-up for our program and are approved, you will be given special URLs and graphics that allow you to link to our site. There are both text links or banner links. top

How does Egiftbaskets.com know how much traffic is coming from my site?
Your links will contain a unique tag that represents your site. When a visitor uses one of your links to browse our site, the tag is stored and when that visitor makes a purchase, the tag is passed to our order database and credits the sale to your account. A purchase from your site may not show up on your status page right away. The order must be processed first and then your commission will be allocated. If we get an order that is paid by check, that check must clear first before the commission is allocated to you. top

How many links can I have to Egiftbaskets.com?
You can have as many links to us as you want. Remember - the more sales you drive to our site, the more commission you will make! The only requirement is that you set up the links using the banners and links we give you when you sign up. top

What are my linking options?
Currently we only support links to our main page. top

Should I list product prices?
Definitely not. Special prices and discounts may apply for a limited time only. Product availability can also lead to changes in prices or discounts. If you list prices, you run the risk of confusing your visitors if these prices change. top

How old do I have to be to participate in the program?
You must be 18 years or older to participate in our Affiliate program. top

Can I download product or other images from Egiftbaskets.com and use them on my web site?
No. All images, product photography and text are copyrighted, trademarked and exclusive property of Egiftbaskets.com. and cannot be used without our express written permission. Please use only approved artwork from our Logos, Banner and Artwork page. top

What if I am considering becoming or already am a member of another affiliate program?
Our affiliate program does not have any provisions of exclusivity. You are welcome to be a member of as many programs as you wish in addition to ours. Banner space is of course limited on every web site and you should always try and maximize the performance of your advertising. top

How does the eGiftBaskets Affiliate Program compare to others?
Most affiliate programs are run through a third party platform such as Commission Junction or BeFree. We run our program in-house to allow for maximum flexibility and so we can be more responsive to our affiliates. top

How can I see how if your program is performing for me?
In the Affiliate Console, once you have logged in, there are several reports that you can generate to show how well our program is working for you. You can see how different banners are performing as well as seeing how much money the program is generating for you. We encourage you to experiment with the different types of ads and their placement to see what works the best for your site. top

What is a Tier 2 affiliate program?
A Tier 2 program allows each affiliate to generate additional commissions by selling our online gift basket businesses via new paper and other media advertising. For full detail please refer to our tier 2 package. You must be qualified in order to get started. top

Does my Website qualify to participate?
We accept all sorts of Websites into our affiliates program. However, we do not accept Websites that: 1. Promote violence 2. Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age 3. Promote illegal activities 4. Include "eGiftBaskets" or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names 5. Otherwise violate intellectual property rights 6. Use existing or future software products and services that will block, alter, direct, redirect, substitute, insert, append itself to, or otherwise intercept or interfere in any manner with any click through or other traffic-based transaction that originated from eGiftBaskets Affiliates with the result of reducing any compensation or other payment earned by or owing to eGiftBaskets Affiliates We welcome all applications but reserve the right to refuse membership or revoke a membership at any time. top

I forgot my password. What should I do? How DO I enable my cookies?
1. Please confirm that your Email address and password are correct. 2. In order to sign into our Affiliates Area, you must have cookies enabled in your web browser. Please follow the directions below to enable cookies on your web browser: a. Open your browser b. Go to Tools --> Internet Options c. Click on the Privacy Tab d. Set your cookies to Low using the slide bar e. Hit OK 3. Please ensure that you are using the most current version of Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL,Mozilla, etc. 4. If you have tried all of the suggestions above and are still not able to login, then please email affiliates@eGiftBaskets.com with the following information: a. What browser are you using? b. Are your images copyrighted? If so, can I display them legally on my Website?
Yes. eGiftBaskets banner images are copyrighted, and it is legal for you to display them on your Website as long they are used as affiliate links. Don’t forget to mention that you are "In association with eGiftBaskets.com." top

I operate multiple Websites. Should I sign up each one separately?
No. You can use the same account for all Websites that you have. If you want to track each Website’s sales and clicks separately, you can do this by establishing Website IDs that are part of your account. The advantage of doing this is that you will receive a single payment for all of your Websites. This makes it easier to reach higher commission percentage levels. top

How do I sign up?
Fill out our Affiliates Application Form and agree to the terms of our Operations Agreement. You will then receive an email with information on how to get started creating links on your Website! top

Are there a certain number or types of links that I must place on my Website?
No. It is completely up to you in regards to the amount and types of links and banners you choose to display. We encourage you to use many banners, since this will increase your click-through rate and commission earnings. top

How can I check that my links are working properly?
To ensure that your links to eGiftBaskets are working properly, go ahead and click through some of your links. Make sure that the links go to the intended destinations and that they contain your Website ID. After you click through the link, the URL on the eGiftBaskets Website should look like this: http://eGiftBaskets.com/?page=servicesXXXXX If you are still unsure whether your links are functional, email us at affiliates@eGiftBaskets.com and we will take a look. top

If someone clicks on a particular item link and then purchases a different package, does the commission still apply?
Yes! Based on your unique "Website ID and Tracking ID", we are able to track any sales referred from your Website. You earn commission on all sales of all our packages and services (excluding shipping & handling and tax on any printing such as business cards, postcards, and flyers). top

What is eGiftBaskets.com?
Egiftbaskets.com designs, builds, and develops online gift basket businesses for motivated individuals wanting to start their own online gift baskets business. top

What is the eGiftBaskets.com Affiliate Program and how does it work?
The Affiliate Program is a service allowing participating websites to earn commission on sales referred from links on their website. We provide you with links for your pages to our products and when a visitor you've referred to us makes a purchase, you earn commission. At the end of the month if you have reached the minimum payout level, we send you a payment for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site. It's that easy! top

Where can I view how much I've sold and earned?
eGiftBaskets provides an intuitive sales and activity report that allows you to view your sales and earnings. We also provide several other reports that show traffic analysis, link effectiveness, as well as other useful information. top

I forgot my password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can go to our affiliates page, and click on forgot password, type in the email address you signed up with, then an email will be sent to you with your password information. top

How can I test my banner to see if it's working properly?
Once you have added a eGiftBaskets.com banner(s) to your website, you can click on the banner, then login to your eGiftBaskets Affiliate admin page, and view your site clicks, IP address, and sales. top

What is eGiftBaskets.com Responsibilities?
eGiftBaskets.com will be responsible for credit card authorizations, payment processing, cancellations, returns, and related customer service for the eGiftBaskets.com service. However, in no event shall eGiftBaskets.com be responsible for lost sales due to technical difficulties preventing eGiftBaskets.com from signing up a client. eGiftBaskets.com is also responsible for tracking Affiliate sales and traffic, then providing this information to the Affiliate on demand. top

How does egiftbaskets.com track my sales from different sales pages?
From my website or from my marketing email letter, the customer clicks on the provided banner to link to your website, the first link shows my affiliate ID in the URL box but if the customer click some other button/link within that first page of your website, the page is changed and my affiliate ID is not show in the URL box anymore, if the customer decides to buy a product from that page instead of from the front page, does your affiliate program able to track down that I should got commission from that purchase?

Upon the very first click, the website creates a session variable that gets saved and displayed to us in an email and the database when they create an order. So the very first url with the ID is just to initiate the session, from then on it is already stored in memory. top
